We are going to share our investment research, thinking, and decision making process. These are the brains behind our established family office that has been investing for 10 years. Since our inception in 2016, we have earned a 32% CAGR and earned a 16x return on our initial capital, 100% focused on public equities. Pure Value Ideas is a market practitioners' journal on portfolio management, the best ideas from true capital allocators. We are students of the markets and its greatest teachers, driven by intellectual curiosity and the intensity of our research process.

  
In order to compound our capital, we had to compound our knowledge, wisdom, and becoming deeply introspective along the way. We will now start sharing the intellectual journey with all of you. At $800 annually ($66/month), you get both quality and value. For example: You run a $200,000 ($800 is 0.4% of $200,000) retirement portfolio and are considering a Pure Value Ideas subscription. You pick one of the 10 ideas and invest 10% of your portfolio, which goes on to earn 50%. For the $10,000, the gain is enough to pay for your $800 annual subscription for the next 12.5 years. If you run a portfolio of $1M, a 5% position that goes up 20% is $10,000, over a decade of Pure Value Ideas.

With Pure Value Ideas, you can expect 10 investable ideas (1 every \~5 weeks) and periodic updates on the market and our research, which is how we run our portfolio management process anyways. Think of this as a Portfolio Manager and an Analyst's highly curated work journal. We will continue to update our views on published ideas if certain developments have increased or decreased our conviction in the idea.

Why only a selective amount of ideas? Because this is a buy-side practitioners journal, not your average newsletter or information overflow inbox. In the age of information abundance, unique insights are what make real returns. This is how we have earned a 16x return over the past 10 years vs. the S&P 500's 3.5x.

Our ideas have ranged from a 100-year-old $300B conglomerate that has returned 5.6x for us over the past 6 years or a $3B technology company we found trading at \~8x price-to-FCF in summer 2024 that rose 82% in 5 months, resulting in taking profits and closing the position.
